Sri Lanka government is to light up Kilinochchi, the LTTE rebels' former capital of its de-facto state on July 10th.
The Chairman of the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) E.M.S.K Edirisinghe said they have already completed the initial steps to provide electricity to Kilinochchi.
As the second step of this project the CEB hopes to provide electricity to recently liberated Mullaitivu city, he added. Read more ...
